CLAUDE CODE 2.1.195-206:
- Sonnet 5 is now default model (1M-token context, adaptive thinking on by default, promo pricing $2/$10 MTok through Aug 31).
- Subagents run in BACKGROUND by default (v2.1.198): parent keeps working while children run, results surface as notifications. Background agents that did code work in a worktree AUTO-COMMIT, PUSH, and OPEN A DRAFT PR when done.  frontmatter field pins behavior.
- Subagents nest FIVE levels deep with per-agent tool allowlists + worktree isolation.
- /doctor (v2.1.205) is now a full setup checkup that DIAGNOSES AND FIXES (not read-only): checks install health, finds UNUSED SKILLS/MCP/plugins vs context cost, dedupes CLAUDE.md against checked-in, proposes trimming derivable CLAUDE.md content, flags slow hooks. Reports first, asks before changing. /checkup alias.
- In-app sandboxed browser on Desktop; Claude in Chrome GA (drives real browser).

CURSOR:
- Subagents 2 levels deep, single readonly switch, reads .claude/agents/ format for free. /multitask parallel dispatch (3.2).
- Cursor 3.11 (Jul 10): SIDE CHATS — durable parallel agent threads via /side or /btw, pulled back into main via at-mention. Full agent, keeps own context. Plus Cmd+K transcript search, cloud agent hooks.

YOYO GAP ANALYSIS:
- yoyo /doctor (Day 136) ALREADY audits skill context-cost — parallel-shipped w/ Claude Code same week. But yoyo's is report-only; CC's now FIXES with confirmation. Gap: /doctor should offer to apply fixes.
- yoyo has /spawn worktree subagents w/ --pr flag (draft PR) — matches CC background-agent-finishes-job pattern, but yoyo's is opt-in/foreground. Gap: background/parallel default + notification handoff.
- BIGGEST GAP: background/parallel subagent execution as default + side-chat-style durable branch threads. yoyo has /side but check if durable+returnable.
- yoyo is on yoagent 0.9; #597 upgrades to 0.13 for real AgentEvent stream-json (headless full-fidelity events) — prerequisite for a harness. Creator-filed, fully specced.
